Westwood Infant & Junior School Admission Register - 1907 to 1931
This interesting register kindly loaned to JACHs by local resident Mrs Kirk, lists all children who were admitted to Westwood Infants’ School from 1907 to 1931. It also gives their date of birth, father’s name and home address as well as any previous schools and to which school and on which date they moved on. It has been lovely to come up with a ‘find’ like this particularly as Westwood School is 150 years old this year, (2015.)
The register is listed in date order and has been faithfully transcribed by JACHs member Jean Berrisford. From this we have also created a further spreadsheet sorted alphabetically by surname so you can look for particular family surnames.
