JACH’s have just launched a brand new Heritage Lottery Funded 380 page A4 full colour book ‘Their Tomorrow for our Today - Jacksdale & Westwood 1914 to 2014’ dedicated to those named on the Jacksdale War Memorial. The book is the culmination of 5 years intensive research and includes many photographs as well as poems and memories contributed by local villagers. The book retails at £10 and is available from MCM Estates & Lettings, 25 Main Road, Jacksdale, NG16 5JU Monday to Friday. Books can also be posted to you at a cost of £16.50 which includes UK 1st Class p&p. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Jacksdale Area Culture & Heritage’ and posted c/o the MCM address above.
