Born at Denby, Derbyshire. Son of James & Bertha Potts of Claremont, Derby Road, Marehay, Derbyshire.

Commemorated/Buried : Portianos Military Cemetery III. C. 332

In 1901 the James & his wife Bertha Potts were living at Netherlea, Holbrook near Belper, Derbyshire. James Potts was a domestic coachman. Children named are Betram aged 8, Percy aged 9 and Annis (or Innis) Aged 1.
