Date of death given as 22nd August 1918 Aged 28 years.

Son of Charles Weston Eyre of 5 Milnhay Road, Langley Mill, Notts.

Commemorated/Buried :  Chatham Naval Memorial Panel 30.

1901 Census - Charles & Ann Eyre were living at Milnhay Road, Langley Mill.  Charles was employed as a coal hewer underground. There were eight children at home - Abel  also a coal hewer underground, Thurza a shirtmaker, George & Allen - brickyard labourers, Annie aged 13, William 12, Charles aged 9 and Arthur aged 1.
