A Soldier in the Making


The new soldier for Jacksdale was carved in Portland Stone by
Centreline Architectural Sculpture
of Gloucestershire
 

The new soldier was funded by:-

March 2009 - Half size model in clay  March 2009 - Start of work and drawing.

March 2009 - Roughing out

Second Update - March 2009

Starting to take shape - Third Update March 2009

The soldier will be unveiled on Sunday 14th June 2009
