Vicar of Christ Church, Vale Square, West Cliff, Ramsgate, Kent from 1956 - 1965.
Vicar of St Michael & All Angels, Marden, Kent from 1965 to his death in 1980. 
 Hugh’s brother-in-law, Bishop Ross Hook, conducted his memorial service and a framed scroll
showing the Vicars of Marden from 1292 onwards was dedicated in Rev Biddell’s memory.

Bishop Ross Hook led the special memorial dedication service at Marden Parish Church on Sunday.
