Photo courtesy of John Fox who lived at Station Road, Codnor Park from 1948 to 1996. John remembers playing near the Co-Op and that they could cater for any need 'from the cradle to the grave.'  There was Co-Op mortuary at the top of the hill as well as a Co-Op Bank and Insurance Office.
